ROMANTIC VENUE FOR YOUR WEDDING IN AUSTRIA
Grosskandlerhaus is the most romantic wedding venue I've ever seen. When you come through the garden door, you feel like you are entering another world: a magical world in which you can celebrate and experience your most beautiful day. And the wedding of Jill and Andreas was one of the most relaxed wedding days I've ever had a chance to protograph. You will see in just a moment.
HOW FAR IS IT FROM VIENNA?
Grosskandlerhaus lies in the middle between Vienna and Salzburg in the heart of the Dambach Valley. It is about 2 hours drive from Vienna, 90 minutes from Salzburg and just 40 minutes from Linec, which makes it ideal, if you want to have a wedding at a romantic place in a coutryside but you don't want to spend hours in the car to get there.
This 400-year-old countryside house with natural rose garden will welcome you with a hearty hospitality and you will right away forget about the two hours drive from the Vienna. Attention to the details and decorations is just breathtaking, feels harmonious and beautiful so you will be refreshed by its atmosphere in just a few minutes.
COOKIES AND WEDDING CAKE
If you like to support loval vendors, you will love it at Grosskandlerhaus. So many different cookies, pastries and cakes from local farmers and bakery will not make it easy for you to resist to taste them all. Everything looks and what is more important tastes fresh and delicious that after the first slice of the wedding cake you want more.
AND WHAT ABOUT THE WEDDING
I know it might looks like I want to talk about the Grosskandlerhaus all day and believe I would if I could, that place stole my heart. But it wouldn't be without Jill and Andreas and their wedding ceremony. I met them for the first time in Brno during our prewedding photoshoot and consultation and we spend a few hours together taking their pictures.
When they showed me the place for their ceremony and told me it's going to be a private day with their close family, it felt perfect in my mind, relaxed day without stress, with nice spring sunny weather, full of laughter and love. And it was exactly like that.
Jill and Andreas couldn't wish for more beautiful day. The warmth of the sunshines and music of singer and songwriter duo Weixler & Tichy helped to complete the romantic atmosphere and all you wanted to do was just to enjoy that time with your loved ones. There was no rush at all, everybody enjoyed a cup of coffee of a glass of vine in the morning before the ceremony and it was no different after it.
I left before the dinner and believe me it was like going back home from a free weekend in the county. I couldn't wait to see Jill and Andreas and their family again soon, which I did a few weeks later. And when it comes to the Grosskandlerhaus, I hope to have a chance to go there again next summer for a couple of days with my own family. This place really has all my love and support.
