SURPRISE OF THE SEASON
I was not even supposed to be at the wedding of Jana and Detlef at Dvur Hoffmeister and in the end it was a pleasant surprise of the whole 2020 wedding season.

A colleague of mine was originally booked to capture this wedding day. But due to the covid pandemic, Jana and Detlef had to change their plans, choose different date and my colleague photographer was no longer available.
So I came with helping hand and guys, believe me, that it was so nice to be there with them.
Throughout the day, I again became fully awared of what weddings can be about. Some people want to have a huge party with dancing and music playing all night, other clients want to spend time playing wedding games and activities, and some wants to enjoy a day with friends and families, with no plan, just having a great time together with space and time to chat and laugh. And Jana and Detlef's wedding was exactly like that. And it was amazing! When I now look at the photos again after 6 months, I remember how I, as a stranger who had only known Jan and Detlef for a while, felt practically like at home.
DVUR HOFFMEISTER
A little bit more about the Dvůr Hoffmeister. Romance, tranquility, nature, family environment and horses - that is the Dvůr Hoffmeister in just a few words. Located only 8 km from Vaclav Havel Airport and about 15 km from the centre of Prague, it is ideal for your guests coming from all around the world. You can accomodate up to 50 people directly at Dvůr, there are 16 rooms available plus 16 extra beds .
They can prepare a small intimate wedding or a party for up to 100 guests. The ceremonies are usually held in the garden and parties in the barn, the choice is yours.
But as you can see in the photos below, you can also have a ceremony inside the barn if the weather is not perfect. Or who is more for a catholic ceremony, there is also a chapel neaby.
The Dvůr Hoffmeister is famous for its artistic atmosphere and especially gastornonic experience. Visit their restaurant and see for yourself, have a lunch or dinner, you will definitely want to come back again.
RAINY DAY BARN WEDDING
Let's get back to the wedding itself. Almost every photo from Jana & Detlef's wedding was full of joy and smiles. It was so incredibly relaxing time with family and friendly atmosphere and no complicated plans or stress.
The only thing, that made us do some changes with the ceremony set up, was the rain, which had not stopped since the morning. Pretty soon it was clear us that the ceremony in the garden is not and ideal option. So the prepared barn reception was quickly cleaned up and the ceremony took place right inside the barn.
You can take a look at the photos. I have not experienced such a relaxed wedding a long time. Even without a long night party we had amazing time. And until this day Jana has my full respect for having the wedding just a couple of weeks before a childbirth. I still admire them both for that.
