Prague Botanical Garden - perfect place for a prewedding photoshoot

Prewedding photoshoots are a great way for couples to capture special memories before their big day. And one unique and beautiful location for a prewedding photoshoot is the Japanese garden in Prague Botanical Garden.

Prague Botanical Garden is in the Troja district of Prague, Czech Republic. It is part of the Czech Academy of Sciences and is one of the oldest botanical gardens in Europe.

The garden features a wide variety of plants from all over the world, including a large collection of cacti and succulents, a tropical greenhouse, and vineyards. It also features a Japanese garden, which offer a glimpse into the traditional gardens of Japanese culture.

The Japanese garden in Prague is a peaceful and serene oasis of the city. The garden features traditional Japanese elements such as a koi pond and a Zen garden. The garden's lush greenery and natural beauty make it the perfect backdrop for a romantic prewedding photoshoot.

Couples can take advantage of the garden's various settings for different types of photographs. The koi pond and Zen garden are great for intimate shots. The garden's cherry blossom trees are also a popular spot for photos, as their delicate pink blossoms provide a romantic and picturesque setting.

The garden is open year-round, but the best time to visit for a prewedding photoshoot is during the spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

I met Petra and Honza a few months before their wedding. They wanted to use their prewedding photos during the wedding day, so we did the shooting well in advance.
And it was amazing. Although we struggled a bit with the fact that there are always some visitors at the Botanical Gardens.

Actually on the day of your prewedding photoshoot there was a school field trip group, but we didn't mind. The Japanese Garden is so beautiful and rugged that even people in the background can be hidden if a photographer knows his craft.

And Peta and Honza were awesome. I loved every second of that photoshoot, they were so natural that I was instantly looking forward to their wedding even more than before. And by the way, their wedding, which we enjoyed together with Prague wedding planner Butterfly Weddings, was just unreal. But more on that next time here on the blog.
